Ukraine halted strikes on Russian oil refineries and on its other energy infrastructure for two days, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Tuesday (13).

The pause followed US President Donald Trump's announcement of an energy ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine, according to Reuters, in a text published by Al Arabiya. Zelensky said that during this time Russia attacked both Ukraine's energy facilities and its critical infrastructure, sending absolutely clear signals that it has no intention of refraining from strikes on Ukraine.
