Iran summoned the British ambassador to Tehran over “accusations” linking the country to a suspected plot against Fairford air base in the United Kingdom, Iran’s foreign ministry said on Tuesday, according to the Middle East Eye.

The ministry demanded that the British government provide “as soon as possible” the documents and evidence supporting its accusations and said that otherwise the Islamic Republic of Iran “will seriously reconsider its bilateral relations.”
