Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said a third oil tanker caught fire in the Strait of Hormuz after striking a naval mine, according to Mehr News.

The IRGC said the vessel had attempted to cross through an unauthorized route despite warnings, and that it was the third super tanker in two days to try to breach the blockade and hit a mine.
