Houthi attacks on the international airports of Abha and King Khalid, in Riyadh, took place on October 6 and 7, according to the BBC — two women died in Abha and a Sudanese resident in Riyadh, with 28 and 8 wounded respectively.

Saudi Arabia's civil aviation authority (Gaca) attributes 3 dead and 36 wounded to the attacks. Houthi spokesman Yahya Saree said the group's forces hit King Khalid airport, in Riyadh, with a ballistic missile, disrupting air traffic. The Saudi-led coalition said it destroyed the launch platform used in the Riyadh attack and then 82 legitimate military targets, including Houthi mountain-based missile facilities and command-and-control centers. UN Secretary-General António Guterres condemned the continued Houthi cross-border attacks on Saudi Arabia. The UN said on Wednesday that the fighting in Yemen displaced more than 200,000 people.
