All five are British nationals from London in their 20s, counter-terrorism police said. The head of UK Counter Terrorism Policing said the five were being released on bail “following extensive interviews and inquiries” and remain subject to strict conditions, according to Al Jazeera. Iran’s embassy in London condemned the “fabricated speculations” linking Tehran to the incident, in a statement cited by Al Jazeera.
