An Israeli airstrike killed at least five Palestinians, including four women, in a residential building in Gaza City on Saturday, according to health authorities and the territory’s Civil Defence, cited by G1.

Among the dead are a Christian woman and her daughter, according to medical teams. There was no immediate comment from Israel’s armed forces on the strike. A witness, Ahmed Al-Dahdouh, told Reuters, in a text republished by G1, that residents were sleeping when they heard continuous attacks and strong explosions, and that the children woke up scared and started running and screaming.
