An Israeli attack wounded six people in northeast Lebanon on Friday, near the border with Syria, and Israel said it targeted a “Syrian terrorist” who planned attacks against Israel.

The Israeli military said it struck Yusuf Ali al-Hassoun, who, according to Tel Aviv, operated under the direction of the Iranian regime.
