Israel’s National Security Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, said on Wednesday that the incident on the FlyDubai flight that landed in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, was an attempted terrorist attack, according to G1.

Ben-Gvir said a “terrorist” wanted to bring down the plane and kill Israelis on board. The captain and the copilot were found injured and were taken to hospital, Le Monde with AFP reported. The aircraft dropped from nearly 34,000 feet at 05:21 GMT to less than 17,000 feet at 05:22 GMT, according to Flightradar.
