A preliminary Saudi investigation into the emergency landing of a Flydubai flight found that the captain was assaulted by his co-pilot, the Interior Ministry said.

Flight FZ1073, from Dubai to Tel Aviv, diverted to Tabuk airport with 174 passengers and eight crew members on board and arrived “safely” at 9:45am local time (06:45 GMT).
