The government of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) failed to reach an agreement in the talks, according to the Hindustan Times.

PTI decided to keep the march to Islamabad on Sunday, according to The Hindu. The government insisted that PTI first announce the cancellation of the protest, and the meeting with the jailed leader would be decided later, according to India Today.
