President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio are considering firing US ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle after a series of reports alleging improper and possibly illegal conduct, according to The Guardian.

A senior US official said Sunday that Trump and Rubio are “extremely pissed off” by the reported conduct and will likely decide what action to take this week, after Monday’s Columbus Day holiday, according to the Associated Press. The Wall Street Journal reported that Guilfoyle asked a Trump donor to pay a $100,000 credit card bill shortly before her confirmation hearing, promising him access to administration officials.
