The Houthi official Mohammed Al Bukhaiti warned of a swift and painful response against the United States (US) and all its interests in the region if Washington enters the Yemen war, according to AFP.

Bukhaiti also told employees and workers at Saudi oil facilities and airports to stay away from these sites, because they have become legitimate targets. Following a Saturday attack on an airport that killed 13 people, US President Donald Trump said he is considering joining Saudi strikes against the group, after having reportedly rebuffed previous requests. Saudi Arabia’s energy minister said the events of recent weeks are serious and that the response must be equally serious.
