Iran’s foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, said he and President Masoud Pezeshkian came to New York to forge peace, in a post on X.

Araghchi also said that Iran remains steadfast in the face of any aggression, even if it comes to an apocalyptic war, according to the Mehr News Agency.
