The leading candidates in Michigan’s Senate race, El-Sayed and Rogers, held their first televised debate, according to Al Jazeera.

Both agreed the war with Iran must end; Rogers said Iran’s uranium enrichment programme had been set back twenty years. Rogers backed continued aid to Israel, and El-Sayed called for ending it.
