Iranian leaders consider a new US strike inevitable and focus the discussion on when it will happen, according to regional diplomats quoted by the Jerusalem Post.

Iranian army spokesman Mohammad Akrami-Nia said the US objective in waging an illegal war is to destroy Iranian Islamic civilization. A spokesman for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said Iran is prepared to respond to any further aggression with greater force than in the past and that the consequences for the US will be far more painful.
