Long-range Ukrainian drones set fire to the Kstovo refinery in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod region overnight, shortly after a major strike on another large refinery in Samara owned by the state-owned energy giant Rosneft, Russian state media reported, according to The Guardian.
Ukrainian officials told the Kyiv Independent that they never agreed to a demand from Jared Kushner, the US president’s son-in-law, to pause refinery strikes for 30 days.
