South Korea demanded an official explanation and apology from Ukraine for revealing the transfer of the two North Korean prisoners, expressing “strong regret” over the unilateral disclosure, according to Al Jazeera.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed at the UN General Assembly that Kyiv transferred the two prisoners, captured in Russia's Kursk region in January 2025.
