The Netherlands said Monday it regretted Israel's decision to revoke the accreditation of Dutch diplomats based in the West Bank, according to AFP, in a text republished by France 24.

Israel retaliated after Dutch authorities began implementing a ban on imports of products from Israeli settlements in the West Bank. Dutch Foreign Minister Berendsen said the decision stems from the obligation, under international law, not to contribute to the illegal settlements.
