During a meeting in Abu Dhabi on Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asked United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to refute a report that he had warned Israel of an impending Hamas attack, according to Middle East Eye.

The report, in the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, said the Emirati leader had warned Netanyahu days before the Hamas-led attack. The UAE Foreign Ministry declined to comment on the latest report and said it maintains “open and direct lines of communication” with Israel and shares “all relevant intelligence”.
