Araghchi said Iran is waiting for the mediators to convey the definitive US position and will decide based on it, after Donald Trump rejected the Iranian proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

According to him, the strait can be reopened and normal maritime passage restored within seven days if the necessary conditions are met.
