A source close to Iran’s delegation to the United Nations (UN) said there is no plan for a new round of negotiations with the United States in New York, according to the Mehr News, citing IRNA.

The source said Iran’s positions were conveyed to the United States last Tuesday through the Qatari mediator and that Tehran is awaiting the American side’s response. US President Donald Trump told Axios he expects more talks with Iran as soon as this week and that Tehran wants a deal, according to RT. Trump also confirmed that the resumption of full-scale hostilities with Iran remains on the table.
