Iran filed a formal protest with the UN over the remarks by US President Donald Trump at the 81st General Assembly, the Tehran Times reported.

The letter was addressed to Secretary-General António Guterres and the president of the Security Council, signed by Iran’s chargé d’affaires, Gholamhossein Darzi, according to the WANA news agency. At the Assembly, Trump said Iran faced a “big decision”: make a deal or be annihilated, ABC News reported.
