The minister Ricardo Villas Bôas Cueva, of Brazil’s Supreme Electoral Court (TSE), on Thursday denied a request by presidential candidate Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) to suspend the Lula (PT) government’s official notifications and messages sent via WhatsApp and the Gov.br system, according to Carta Capital.
Reviewing the request, Cueva said the messages presented had apparently informative content, with no references to candidacy, vote requests or expressions of electoral support.
