The US Department of Justice has accused former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) director James Comey of knowingly sharing information related to US national defense with a person unauthorized to receive it in October 2016, while he ran the agency, Le Monde reported.
It is the third legal proceeding against Comey in just over a year. “Nothing’s changed with me. I’m still innocent, and I’m still not afraid of these people, and I still believe in the independent federal judiciary,” he told Al Jazeera.
