Iran said on Saturday that “we will under no circumstances and at no time allow rusty U.S. military vessels to enter the Persian Gulf” and that, if attacked, it “will achieve absolute victory in this apocalyptic war”, according to The Hindu.

The apocalyptic war remark was attributed to state-run Press TV. The comments by Iranian military officers came after US and Israeli media reported that both countries have drawn up plans to resume strikes against the Islamic Republic.
