The Qatar Gas Transport Company (Nakilat) confirmed that its liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier Al Mayeda was hit by unidentified objects while transiting the Arabian Gulf on Friday evening, October 30, 2026.

None of the crew members were injured and there was no environmental impact, according to the company. Nakilat said the vessel is operational and that an assessment of the consequences of the incident is under way, according to TASS.
