Gaza’s interior ministry said police officers were killed and wounded in an Israeli air strike near the southern city of Khan Younis.
The Palestinian Health Ministry counted 19 Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip since Saturday, six of them in the previous 24 hours, after 13 deaths over the weekend. Among Tuesday’s deaths were a Palestinian who succumbed to his wounds after the bombing of the displacement camp where he was staying in Khan Younis, and another killed in an air strike on a group at the University College of Applied Sciences in the same city.
