Yemen's Houthi armed forces called for the immediate evacuation of Aden airport, citing the presence of a Saudi military cargo plane they said was carrying weapons, in a statement carried by Mehr News.
A Houthi missile later hit “the area under the control of Saudi forces inside the perimeter of Aden airport”, according to a police officer cited by AFP in a G1 report. Al-Masirah, a TV channel linked to the Houthis, said a Saudi strike on Hazm, the capital of Al-Jawf province, killed 16 people and wounded 10, including women and children.
