Almost 5,000 Palestinians have been displaced by Israel’s military siege on the southern West Bank city of Hebron, according to Al Jazeera.
The number of people removed from their homes stands at 4,969, including 441 elderly people, 336 infants under two years old and 312 patients with chronic diseases. The siege began on October 23, after two Palestinians shot dead two Israeli soldiers in Hebron and wounded three others, before the army killed the two attackers.
