Argentina's foreign minister denied that Brazil had formally requested explanations over the escape of Flávio Bolsonaro, according to Carta Capital.

Brazil's foreign ministry, for its part, summoned the chargé d'affaires of the Argentine embassy in Brasília, Maria Emília Cortés, to explain her government's role in the escape, two Brazilian government sources confirmed to Reuters, in a report republished by UOL.
