US diplomats visited a Christian Palestinian village in the West Bank on Sunday, following attacks by Israeli settlers on European diplomats and an American photojournalist in recent days.

The European Union said Sunday that it “strongly condemns” an attack by a group of Israeli settlers on visiting European diplomats in the occupied West Bank, and urged full accountability and effective measures to prevent continued acts of violence and violent harassment against Palestinians, including during the ongoing olive harvest season, as well as against journalists.
