US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira met in the same room at the G20 foreign ministers’ meeting in Atlanta on Friday, the first time they shared a setting since Flávio Bolsonaro fled to the United States, where the former presidential candidate investigated for corruption went after losing Brazil’s election, according to EFE, in a text republished by Infobae.

Rubio and Vieira shared the table at the foreign ministers’ meeting, hosted by the United States, but held no bilateral meeting. According to Brazilian government interlocutors, no bilateral meeting between the two was scheduled, in principle, as UOL reported.
