A tanker was hit by an unknown projectile seven nautical miles off the Omani coast, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said, according to the Middle East Eye.

The vessel, which was transiting outbound in the Strait of Hormuz, was able to continue its journey to the next port of call.
