The United States embassy in Riyadh restated the warning about hostilities by the Iranian-supported Houthis against Saudi Arabia — including attacks on civilian airports and critical infrastructure, causing civilian casualties and severe travel disruption — and about the State Department order, in effect since October 23, 2026, for non-emergency employees and family members to leave the country, plus the requirement of special authorization from the chief of mission for American employees to use any airport in the kingdom after the recent missile and drone attacks.
