Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the Jerusalem Post he had warnings from military intelligence and the Mossad that Iran and its allies are considering ways to influence the elections.
“We have clear warnings that we got from military intelligence, from the Mossad, that Iran and its proxies are considering ways to influence the elections,” he said. Netanyahu also said that about a year ago Iran was on the verge of developing several atomic bombs, and estimated that the country still possessed more than 1,000 missiles.
