Democratic Representative Ro Khanna said on Sunday that he would stop funding for further US military action in Iran, amid growing voter dissatisfaction with the war, and compared the move to what Congress did to end the Vietnam War.
“I would stop the funding. The House and the Senate should stop the funding for any further actions in the Iran War. That’s what we did to stop the Vietnam War,” he said on Fox News Sunday, according to The Hill. A Democrat-led Congress would cut off funding for further military action even with American personnel still in the region, according to the Daily Wire.
