The United States is accelerating the evacuation of diplomats and their families from its missions across the Middle East amid concerns over a possible regional escalation and renewed strikes on Iran, according to the Jerusalem Post.

The State Department ordered nonessential personnel and their families to leave Saudi Arabia and quietly reduced staffing levels at US embassies in Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Lebanon.
