Voters in the United States (US) deliver a verdict on Tuesday on the first two years of President Donald Trump's second term, with polls and nonpartisan analysts favoring Democrats to wrest the House of Representatives from Republicans while control of the Senate remains uncertain, according to Reuters, in text published by Investing.com.

All 435 seats in the House are up for election, along with 35 of the Senate's 100 seats; Democrats must flip at least three House seats and four Senate seats to win a majority in each chamber. Final polls suggest Trump's approval rating is around 38%. The price of a gallon of diesel, which was $3.75 before the war with Iran started in February, hit a record high of $6.52 in September.
