Vote counting in Brazil's presidential runoff began on Sunday after Supreme Court justice Cristiano Zanin ordered voting extended by two hours, granting a request from Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva's campaign.
The campaign alleged that authorities in several cities were restricting voter access to public transportation. With the extension, votes for nearly 160 million Brazilians began to be counted, with results expected in the coming hours, according to Al Jazeera.
