The campaign coordination of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s re-election bid said the PT candidate accepted his opponent’s conditions for lifting the bank and telephone secrecy of himself and his relatives, provided Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) complies with what is in the request filed with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), according to campaign coordinator Camilo Santana.
“All the conditions he set, the president’s answer is that he does not oppose absolutely anything he is proposing,” Santana said. Among the PL’s demands are the lifting of the telephone secrecy of former chief of staff Marco Aurélio Santana Ribeiro, known as Marcola, and the release of information on the presidency’s corporate card, according to Carta Capital.
