Israel's military identified the two soldiers killed in Friday's shooting attack in the occupied West Bank: Staff Sergeant Ron Yonatan Roytman, 23, from Ashkelon, and Sergeant Yuval Shai Svilem, 20, from Hod Hasharon.

Both fell in combat at the Judea Junction when two attackers travelling in a car opened fire on soldiers with an M4 machine gun and a pistol. Three other soldiers from the same battalion were lightly injured.
