Pope Leo XIV said he hopes the humanitarian mission in Alyoshki will be followed by other peace initiatives and will strengthen dialogue between the sides, according to the Russian state agency TASS.

Evacuees from the city, in the Kherson Region, were accommodated at a health resort in Russia’s southern Krasnodar Region, the agency reported.
