Students blocked access to the Louvre Museum in Paris on Monday, in support of ongoing high school protests and to denounce what they described as police repression, TRT World reported.

Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu asked regional authorities to impose curfews in some cities on Monday evening. Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez said, according to Le Monde, that he could not look shopkeepers in the eye after hundreds of shops were looted on Saturday and tell them the police had not lost control.
