Senator Flavio Bolsonaro landed with his family at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport in Florida shortly after 9 a.m. Wednesday, and President Donald Trump’s administration is issuing visas to him and his family, a State Department official told ABC News.
In a statement released Wednesday afternoon, he thanked Argentina’s government and Trump for helping him leave Brazil and said: “I did not flee Brazil.” He also claimed, without any evidence, that there was fraud in Sunday’s election. Trump told reporters that “we gave him a pass to come into the country.”
