Al Jazeera has ascertained that at least 51 Syrians are still detained inside Israel, many of them first at the Sde Teiman military prison and later transferred to facilities run by the Israel Prison Service.
In September, the Syrian Sijil Center, which monitors Israeli activity, documented 280 Israeli violations of the 1974 agreement between the two countries, including incursions, raids and arrests, as well as artillery and machine-gun fire, according to Al Jazeera.
