Senator Chris Murphy said he was briefed on the United States (US) plan to restart the war on Iran and called the proposal “insane,” saying it would lead to a “devastating escalation,” according to Middle East Eye.

Murphy said the plan developed will lead, in his view, to a prolongation and an escalation of the war that will be devastating for the country’s security interests.
