Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said the group’s forces carried out a ballistic missile strike on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and that the target was hit, in a statement carried by the Houthi-controlled SABA news agency.

Saree urged international airlines, their employees and passengers to avoid Saudi airspace. Saudi authorities had not confirmed the attack or any damage. In the early hours of Wednesday, Saudi Civil Defense issued a warning about a potential hazard in the Riyadh region and later declared it over, and the Indian embassy announced the death of an Indian citizen wounded in the October 10 attack on the airport.
