Sheikh Yahaya Masussuka, an Islamic cleric respected in Katsina, was shot dead by two armed men on a motorcycle outside his home in Dutsin-Ma, northern Nigeria, last week.

The group Ansaru claimed responsibility for the killing in a four-minute video obtained by Nigerian newspaper Premium Times, in a report republished by AllAfrica.
