A United Nations (UN) commission of inquiry accused the Israeli government of committing extermination, persecution, torture and rape against Palestinians living in the occupied West Bank, according to Opera Mundi.

The body also said Israeli forces killed 1,080 Palestinians in the West Bank between October 2023 and September 2026, while more than 34,000 Palestinians remained displaced as of August. The independent commission accused Israel of crimes against humanity, including extermination, against Palestinians in the West Bank, according to UN News.
