The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said on Tuesday that three oil tankers exploded and caught fire after striking naval mines in the Strait of Hormuz, after switching off their navigation and identification systems and taking an unauthorized route.

According to the statement, the vessels were left along the southern shores of the strait and were still ablaze, and fishermen in the east saw a night lit by the flames.
